![]() I think I might just hand this one in to my English teacher. The stats are what are at play here, regardless of how much you think he is better in certain situations or how much you like one or hate the other. ![]() Say what you want, but I think Curry should be a 92, and harden a 91. Curry is a better 3pt shooter though, which gives him all the publicity, and in turn all the hate. What I'm trying to say is this - Harden just may be a better player. He's a better defender as well, but they both aren't that good and Curry's defense is really overrated here. But in 2k, Curry should have better stats because statistically, in the real life NBA, Surry is a better shooter and passer, enough said. Curry can't do that as well, all he needs to do is pass it and let others do the magic for him. he's great at that, just put him in the iso and let him work his magic. If you can get his shot down, Curry is a powerful and unique weapon to have in your arsenal. ![]() But on the perimeter, adding Gold Perimeter Lockdown Defender seems to make him quite passable as a perimeter man-on-man defender. Obviously, he can get bullied by post-up guards in the paint. His big liability is defense: his smaller size, lower strength, and poor lateral quickness. Coupled with his quick animations and high Acceleration, and the need to play him tight, he can capitalize off of opportunities to drive to the hole, and he has many such opportunities. His dribble animations are quick, as is his general movement, so coupled with the super-quick release, it's much more possible to do stepbacks or sidesteps into shots, when compared to many other players with slower movement and/or shots.Īnd he can do more than just shoot from outside, as he has his ridiculous floating layup animation that is so hard to block. That's with a good fraction of attempts being ill-advised. And he can just bomb a high volume of threes and make 40-50% of them. I'm streaky with Curry from game-to-game, but within games, seem to be consistent. You have to develop an "organic" feel for the timing of the shot.basically, create muscle memory for the timing. For me and my slow reflexes, it's much too fast to try to gauge by the animation or the meter. That strategy assured me of the victory and the record.Obviously, this card is either incredible, or terrible, depending on whether or not you've adapted to his super-quick release. For the 7th year in a row, NBA2K19 cover athlete LeBron James has had the highest 2K rating. I also used my big men to own the glass so the team of Currys couldn't grab many rebounds. ![]() I focused almost entirely on hitting the requisite threes first, which Lillard accomplished early in the fourth quarter. After my Amethyst Curry missed his first two shots, I turned to Lillard and he caught fire.īy using simple screens and running a few sets out of Diamond Brad Stevens' playbook, I was able to get Lillard the open looks he needed to snap the record. I'd made up my mind, the first guy to make a three would be the one I'd use to chase the record. Although I will admit, he's the first player I allowed to shoot. After sharing my lineup, which card would you guess was the one I used to obliterate Curry's record? My lineup consists of a 91-rated Amethyst Curry, a 95-rated Diamond Damian Lillard, an 89-rated Ruby Karl-Anthony Towns, a 90-rated Heat Check Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the 95-rated Diamond Moments Hamidou Diallo.
